Reports To: President

Education: Bachelors degree [min.], preferably with major in marketing or other business field.

Experience: Minimum of ten years hands-on big ticket consumer sales and sales management experience, including recruiting, training, managing and motivating a high dollar consumer-oriented sales force. Must have experience in new home or similar sales, e.g., real estate, resort homes sales, etc. Will consider an otherwise qualified candidate with a high dollar consumer-based relationship selling background, e.g. luxury items, yachts, upscale furnishings, securities, mortgage lending. No candidates will be considered without a basic and general knowledge of construction and mortgage financing.

Qualifications: Candidates must have a proven sales track record, strong closing skills and be comfortable working with clients by phone. Excellent written skills, computer and Internet literacy are also required.

Responsibilities: This is a selling-manager position, as sales management handles certain select types of prospects and clients. Manage up to ten sales persons. Very limited travel, retail-type hours, including some evenings and weekends.

Work Schedule: Sales office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Sunday client visits are by appointment only. Hours are much like the real estate business with client meetings often on weekends and into the evening. The typical work schedule will include two evenings until closing (arriving at noon on those days), two to three Saturdays per month and occasional appointments on Sunday. Overnight travel is limited.
